Weyoto GitGPT helps you use Custom GPTs with your GitHub data — no backend setup or coding required. If you’re building a GPT that needs to understand your projects, repos, or files, this is the easiest way to make it happen.
Getting Access
- Email-only login: No passwords to remember — just enter your email and we’ll send you a verification code.
- Your permanent API key: After you sign up, you’ll get a personal API key. Paste this into your Custom GPT’s settings to let it securely access your GitHub data.
- Secure GitHub login: You connect your GitHub account using OAuth — no tokens needed. We never store or access your data without your permission.
Connecting Your GPT
Once your account is set up, you’ll see a YAML schema on your homepage. This is the “action schema” your GPT needs to understand how to talk to GitHub.
You simply:
- Copy the schema from your dashboard.
- Paste it into your Custom GPT’s Action tab.
- Add your API key to the GPT’s authentication settings.
That’s it. Your GPT can now interact with your GitHub account — securely and in real time.
GitHub Actions Your Custom GPT Can Use (Right Now)
Your Custom GPT will be able to:
- Fetch a file from any repo you own or have access to
- List all files in a repo
- Get the latest commit info from a repo
- List all your GitHub repositories
These actions are built-in and ready to go after you paste the schema — no coding required.
Usage & Upgrades
- Free plan: Comes with a limited daily queries
- Pro plan: $1/month or $10/year for unlimited access
If your GPT hits the free limit, it will automatically show users a message with a link to upgrade.
